Our Story

John Cooper Carpets opened for business in 1971. For many years we were based in Lymington High Street. Now in the Ampress Park on the outskirts of Lymington just off the main A337 to Brockenhurst, we are extremely well positioned to serve the needs of our customers both in Lymington itself and the wider New Forest area.

As part of our evolving service to meet customers’ needs we now offer to visit our customers in their own home or premises and take their “brief” there. In fact we’re very happy to do this – it enables us immediately to get a feel for the likely usage of carpet or hard floor (a vital element in the decision!), and the type of décor and “look” which the customer prefers. We can at the same time measure up, so that a quote can be provided very swiftly. We value our customers, and we try very hard to ensure they are happy to return to us for their future needs.

Drop in to have a look around the showroom or contact us to arrange an appointment for us to visit your home or business premises at a time to suit you, either first thing in the morning, lunchtime or late afternoon. We can measure up, show you samples or provide advice on colours or style to suit your decor and environment.

The showroom is open Mon-Fri 10am – 4pm. On Saturday mornings we are happy to make appointments if you’d prefer to view then (10am – 1pm). We’re easy to find, follow the signs to Screwfix and just before you get there we’re on the right!
